Hiking in Zions

Mom, Alisa, Ryan and I had a great 2 days of hiking in Zions National Park. It was great. The weather was perfect and the hikes were perfect as well (apart from the sore legs). The first day we hiked 8 miles with 2150 feet of elevation to the top of "Observaton Point". What a view!!! The sights were wonderful. Lots of memories of hiking the narrows with the Andrews. This is becoming and annual event...come join us. Next year will be Kolob and/or Bryce (which we missed this year because they still had snow)

Mom and I had a great weekend in Nebraska last week end...lots of driving but well worth it!!! The weather was perfect for a picnic and nice walk.

Grandma is about to get tackled!!

Picture above is the tour guide that we had to show us these ancient Inca ruins near Lima.... really interesting.
This is my host and his wife. Alex Nunez the the area HR guy and an Area 70. We had a great lunch at this place. They have some of the best fish Ive ever had. Beaches are great... full of surfers. Apparently Peru has some of the best surfing in the world

I went for a walk on the beach and saw this cute little boy throwing rocks into the water

More of the ruins.....this was a house for all the concubines of the king

Alex Nunez and I

More ruins.

Alex, Leana and me. I really fell in love with Peru.
